 don’tpanicdon’tpanicdon’tpanic…
Actually I like it. Until I go to feel it, and then I get all anxious. It’s just hair, right? It’ll grow back if I want it to, right?
Below butt to shoulder length. Dayam, that’s a big shift. But it’s a lot of nasty damaged hair gone. I’ll save a fortune on shampoo and conditioner. Plus, I might be able to pass as a Muggle now!
I hope it went to Locks of Love! I cut 12" off mine last year for them.
P’raps you should start asking “why” instead of “WhyNot”?

I cut mine by about 8" a few years ago. Two years after I started regrowing, it’s all back.
yup. It was WhyKid’s idea, actually. He decided to cut off his shoulder-length hair for donation to celebrate his baby sister’s release from the hospital after 4 months in intensive care (hopefully she comes home tomorrow!) How could I *not *follow that great example?
I had hair halfway down my back a few weeks ago. Then I got tired of it and had it all chopped off. Now I have a shaggy, wavy thing going and I’m digging it.
That’s funny; my boyfriend has hair like yours. Right now it’s shaggy wavy, but he told me last night he’s going to grow it out.
Kudos to both you and WhyKid.
Don’t fret.
You’ve cut your hair to your shoulders? If you do decide to grow it out, you won’t have any nasty “in-between” stages, as I would if I were to let mine grow. (I’ve got the Jamie Lee Curtis haircut).
You did a good thing. Congrats.
Hey, I just did something similar yesterday, only mine was completely random (I’m gonna get a haircut. Nah, I’m gonna chop all my hair off!) Went to a good cause (apparently the stylist asks everyone who’s cutting enough off if it’s OK to donate). And if you hate it, it’ll grow back.
(plus, a reason to invest in a couple cute hats!)
still hyperventilating at the thought of it. 28 days until I do the same thing.
Congratulations to you on your bravery!
