Aardvark game

This is an aardvark.

Er… This is a badger?

Note to Lib: Post the bloody rules. Please.

Sorry. I guess my age is showing. It’s a game we hippies used to play when we were two sheets to the wind. It was played like this: sit in a circle and pass around an object. The first passer says, “This is an aardvark.” The person he passes to says, “A what?”. The passer responds, “An aardvark.” The person says, “Oh, an aardvark!”

Then, that person passes the object, and says, “This is an aardvark.” The person he passes to says, “A what?” Now, he doesn’t answer, but instead turns back to the original passer and repeats, “A what?”. The original passer says, “An aardvark.” The next guy repeats, “An aardvark”. And the final guy goes, “Oh, an aardvark.”

And so it goes until there are multiple passes around the circle, something like this:

“This is an aardvark.”

“A what?”
“A what?”
“A what?”
“A what?”
“A what?”

…etc…

“An aardvark.”
“An aardvark.”
“An aardvark.”
“An aardvark.”
“An aardvark.”

…etc…

“Oh, an aardvark!”

Okay. Got it.

A what?
Boy, you must have smoked some strong shit back then.
