A few months ago, I started a thread wherein I bitched that I had missed most of an Absolutely Fabulous special which was broadcast on Comedy Central. I don’t know if the whole special was good, but the twenty minutes that I saw were pretty damned funny.

Well, good things come to she who waits. This Saturday, May 10, 8 p.m. eastern and 5 p.m. pacific, BBC America will show the special again. IIRC, it was two hours long, and depicts Eddie and Patsy making a trip to NYC for the purpose of attending some fashion shows. While here, they run into Serge.

Who’ll join me in a bolly of champers this Saturday night?

I think I also read there are a whole bunch of new episodes that will be aired on Oxygen Channel soon. At least I think they said Oxygen (or was it Bravo - I know it wasn’t Comedy Central this time…)

At any rate, there are new episodes coming to the US soon.
