Abortion??

I am pro abortion. A women should have the choice, it’s her body.

Pro abortion means you think women should get abortions it they’re pregnant and unmarried. Pro choice or abortion-rights means you support a woman’s right to have an abortion or not.

Or, in the case of China, you already have a child.

Your mother should definitely have had one.

personally i am against abortion. If a girl decides to go out and have sex before she is married, and take the responsibility to have sex, then she has the responsibilty to care for a child, right?

And if this girl uses every contraceptive technique known to man, but a sperm cell slips through the cracks (no contraception is 100% perfect), should she be forced to carry her baby to term?

And even if she were forced to carry it to term, what “responsibility” does she carry if she opts to put her newborn infant up for adoption?

Abstinence: great way of not getting pregnant. Live with the irresposible consequences if you do get pregnant, don’t take it out on an innocent child.

Oh, by the way, are you a breaker?

Abortion should not only be safe and legal, but the government should subsidize it. It would be cheaper in the long-run.

Contraception is even cheaper. Big boxes of free condoms on every corner. Free birth-control pills, IUDs and diaphrams, as well as free medical exams. Cut the abortion rate by a couple orders of magnitude.

Forcing a woman to care for a child she is unable or unwilling to raise very bad for the mother, and bordering on barbaric for the child.

That sounds more like a good description of pro-life, actually. Far too many pro-lifers don’t give a rat’s ass what happens to a baby after it is born.

“Don’t take it out on an innocent child” you say? You don’t seem to have any problem with forcing women to care for children they don’t want, apparently oblivious to the fact that many of these unwanted children are better off not having been born.

I agree that making birth control more readily available could drasticslly reduce abortions, and I think that HMOs should be required to cover all forms of birth control, including surgical sterilization for both men and women.
Nobody should take on the responsibility of parenthood who is not 100% able and willing to make that commitment. Period. There is simply too much at stake.

Great way to get awfully frustrated, too. Plus it ain’t too good for the ol’ self esteem, of either sex.

Sounds to me like you’re using the abortion issue to impose your morality…

Let’s remember that marriage is a piece of paper that doesn’t protect you from unwanted pregnancy or diseases.

You have to be carefull telling young people they need to get married before they have sex. Two wrongs don’t make a right.

Unless maybe you think married people should only have sex, if trying to get pregnant.
I could be wrong…it happend once before…

Abstinence: great way of not getting pregnant.

Not so great way to build a stable marriage.
