So I went over there and realized my password had fallen out of memory (and isn’t on my pw trackers). Request new pw. Get new pw. Change pw. Am being told I’m using wrong pw there. Don’t dare log out of here. Do I have to wait 'til tomorrow for the new pw to work in the test server or something?
When doing a password reset on the test board, the links it provides (both on site and via email) are for the boards.straightdope.com address, so it resets your password for this board.
Instead of clicking links over there and in the emails you’ll get sent, C&P them and change that part of the URL to 208.100.26.199 - that will get the new board to handle things.
