So masseueses don’t do both sides?
I always do, unless specifically requested otherwise. I’m not sure what Skald’s on about there. It’s certainly NOT code for, “may I give you an orgasm, sir?”
And, I’m not trying to be the language police, just to offer information: “masseuse” is passe, and currently only applies to whores who offer massage as a cover for their real careers. Those of us who went to school and got certificates and licenses to show for it are called Massage Therapists or Licensed Massage Therapists. They let us put it on our business cards and everything.
OK, good. I went to a Massage Therapist and she asked me to turn over. It was in an upscale business area and it was the reason I went. I’m not a massage kind of person but was having muscle spasm problems.
Don’t do it! It would just kill your father!
Apparently its all about sublety
I’m not knocking massage therapists. I regularly and thoroughly enjoy the benefits of a professional massage, but the training is a one year course at at tech college and a state board exam. It’s not like they’re doling out for med school or anything.
That said, knowing a few MTs personally, you’re spot on about the disdain they have for rub and tuggers.
Bah, I have some freind who are 100% legit, no sex, no happy ending, and they still call themselves “Masseur” or “Masseuse”. Pefectly ok.
To answer the Op, yes, you can- but generally not if anything other than a “happy ending” is offered. Some oriental massage places cater to males, and you can get a good massage and a happy ending. But it’s not really done in a sexual manner, more like a continuation of the massage.
And I also know of at least one legit “tantric massage therapist”.
D’oh! :smack: I read that as “soi distant,” thinking he meant hidden up a little soi.
Oh well, if you’re coming to (in?) Thailand, now you know.
While I was a live in Nanny for a family in LA the woman of the house often had a Massage Therapist come to the house to give her a massage.
The woman that came brought all the equipment and then the two ladies would lock themselves in the back bedroom for up to 3 hours!! I am pretty sure she got a professional massage for the first hour or two. After that…???
*All I know is that I did see a “fistful of $20s” in the Massage Therapists hands once. And, when the woman I worked for got a call from her husband one time, and I told him she was having her weekly massage, I was nearly fired on the spot. I told her he called and she freaked out and ran around the house screaming.
I am pretty sure I could have made some extra blackmail money myself had I played my cards right. But I was young and foolish.
Your summary of massage education ain’t necessarily so, Fallen Angel. Different states and provinces have different requirements for licensure, with some having no requirements and others (like British Columbia) having three year programs.
My training was full-time at a dedicated massage school for a year and a half. Again, not medical school, but a thorough training in anatomy, physiology, pathology, ethics, communication, and technique with tons of supervised practice. There were many different courses we were required to take with many different instructors. (And there were no automotive, computer education, or dental hygiene classes being taught at the same time.)
I wonder if having six fingers would add anything to the massage experience…
