I am absolutely speechless.
As the sibling of a survivor, I can only imagine what this pervert’s “lessons” have done to that young girl’s mind and psyche, and I sincerely hope the inmates where he’s going don’t find out about what he’s done. Or he’ll learn a lot about prison attitudes towards baby-rapers.

West Virginia has enough problems without THIS story. The child is who I am in pain for, the sickness she must have been raised with, even before this travesty of humanity,… well, I honestly pray she can recover from this abuse and live a life without undue pain. For several reasons, not the least of which is the shock expressed by the good people of this board toward both the behavior and the man’s rationalization of it. Not that your shock isn’t a good thing, far from it. But, as an incest survivor the last thing I expect to hear or see from a general population is outrage toward such an obvious sociopath. In my experience and in the experience of the other men and women I know who have survived incest quite the oposite has happened. Some examples…
So, I’m suprised. Suprised that there are some mom’s who have the decency to support and believe their children, judges who see this as the heinous crime that it is (and sentance accordingly), and last but far from least-suprised and heartened to find a community that rightously condemns this father’s behavior. Hats off to you!
I wish I were a judge - I’d never give the death penalty (to humane), but I’d also never give solitary confinement or protective custody. No sirree. Scum like that belong in with the other prisoners. I’m sure the guards could look the other way.

I’m not an advocate of the death penalty. This guy looks like he might possibly, in another universe, be just an incredibly fucking moronic, sick bastard. But this … I can think of very few forms of punishment that could weigh up to this, and one of them is a process whereby the purpetrator goes through the crime through the eyes of the victim.
Maybe that would be a start. See how he likes being violated. Over and over.

Oh my God. I don’t even know what to think. I am so disgusted by this. I am against the death penalty, but this guy should be tortured every day, all day for the rest of his natural life. I can’t think of anything that would be too cruel or unusual for this bastard.
