This is an poem with an illustration from the NY Times. I can’t believe it got past the editors (spoilered, because it’s potentially NSFW).
I’m told it’s a globe with a mask, but I really can’t see the mask, I only see the other thing.
Hopefully, this isn’t paywalled. If it is, maybe someone with access can post a screen capture (spoilered, of course).

Man, I’m dense. It took me far longer than I care to admit to see it. I was like, kinda looks like a breast? Maybe? Then I thought … stubby penis? And then I saw the whole penis. Ah… Now I understand.

Yes, it looks like a penis. But it also looks like a surgical mask on the globe.
Only now did I get what those parallel lines are trying to depict. I teach cartography, so maybe that’s why I took them to be the equator, plus some other important latitude (30 degrees north?).

That’s some really poor drawing skills, especially for the NYT.
Seth Rogen is pretty good at drawing penises.
I know poems are flowery expressions for desiring sex, but I couldn’t find any allusions in the verse to the world having a stiffy.

There is absolutely no penis in that image.
Left to my own imagination, I don’t see a mask or a penis. I just see a globe with a weird protrusion on it.
But after being told both “it’s a globe with a mask!” and “there’s a penis in there!” I must confess the penis is obvious and I still don’t see a mask.
I like penes, so I’m okay with that.
If it’s a mask, what’s the round thing on the right side supposed to be?
I’m assuming a nose that has a mask over it. The globe is “looking” to the side, and is seen in “profile” with the two lines being the ear loops of the mask.
Given the prominence (heh) of penis responses, plus a few breasts, I gotta wonder what the hell Gatopescado is seeing.
I don’t see a penis at all, just the globe with a mask. And I’m one who can’t anything but a penis in the Amazon logo.

The protrusion is the head. The middle band is the shaft.
I don’t know if it’s very badly drawn or drawn just right.
