Okay, the comment over in the POTY thread attracted no attention, so I’ll try again. A friend sent me a (rare) rushed ping to look at the POTY/Trump cover of Time Magazine, so I did.
OMFG is all I can say. Them’s some brass balls.
Look for yourself; you’ll see it. It’s not a small, subtle detail.

I think I know what it is. But I don’t want to say in case you want more guesses before it is solved. And I don’t know how to do a spoiler box. 
It has to do with the TIME lettering, right?
Before I looked at the pic, I was expecting that they’d done something to make his hands look small, but that’s not it.
Is it maybe that his forehead appears to be bleeding?
The M makes a little ^^ pair of horns or cat ears or something

Same could be said about Ben Bernanke, Putin, Pope John Paul, Bill Clinton, King Faisal.
It’s just a feature of having an “M” in the title, and placing a person’s head more or less centrally. In fact several of those I’ve listed look far, far more like devils horns because the face is placed over the “M”, leaving just a little “^^” over the face, which looks even more devil-like.
Bernanke’s is the worst! 
I find it far more interesting that he’s in a chair he normally wouldn’t be caught dead in.
If it’s that you think the M looks like horns, two people had already mentioned it in the other thread before you did. So why you feel you have to be so secretive about it, I don’t know.

I didn’t see the comments. A friend well outside the Dope orbit pointed it out to me. Wasn’t trying to be secretive, I just think things like this are more fun if each person finds it on their own.
