… I have the cones of Mr. Magoo.
Seriously, I can see a few more squares I might flip around but otherwise it looks pretty close to me. Is my result really that bad?

Did you check it against your age and gender?
To see if misery really does love company?
Usually these goofy tests want your personal info once you get the results so I’m in the habit of not clicking on any “compare your results” button. I might try it again once my eyes have fully uncrossed.
Mine’s 23. I was expecting worse.
I took this test a while back and got in the low single digits. Then one of my employees put me in my place by getting a zero, a perfect score. I sat in my office and sulked.
I got low color acuity, 99. Of course blues were bad because I don’t see that range well.
Mine was 11. I definitely had to switch around a lot of the tiles - so if you only swapped a few, I could see how your score wouldn’t be great…
Mine said I got 0.
I’m pretty good with colors but I really wonder if I actually got a perfect on it. I’ll have to retry to make sure it’s not a glitch as soon as my eyes feel back to normal.
I got a 12! Pheer my leet color-discrimination skillz.
I got a 19. It would nice to see some sort of percentile score…all I really know is that I fall closer to the best score for my gender/age range (0) than the worst (1520).
Not bad for an old guy.
Suck it[sup]*[/sup], I got an 8!
Okay, don’t suck it, but the board software won’t let me post just “8”.
Edit: And yeah, OP, when looking at your result it definitely doesn’t look like a smooth color transition to me. It chops back and forth in hue.
15, far better than I expected.
StG
I got a 12. Pretty good!
Where does it say this? I assumed the range was 0-100. I feel a little better now with my score of 98.

Is it worth the time to do the test when probably every monitor used in this thread has different colour characteristics?
Really, each monitor would have to be colour calibrated with pro equipment (and probably be a professional CRT — unless I’m too far out of date) so each would match the others before the test could be expected to produce anywhere near legitimate, comparable results.
Relax, high scorers. The colours can be different even between two different browsers on the same machine.
Perfect 0. I took the same test a while back and remember getting a 4 or something, so there must be a smidge of luck involved. My monitor also is pretty poor at color reproduction.
Well, 1520 is actually worse than the worst–it means you exactly reversed the patterns, implying that you actually need very good acuity to achieve that score. Someone with no color acuity at all is likely to score around half that.
