Actors/Actresses you find really attractive in just one movie

I don’t want to debate if your choices are attractive to anyone else or not, since we all have our own taste.

So who did you find attractive once but never before or since? What movie was it? These people will probably range between people you find homely to those who just don’t “do it” for you, it’s up to you. But just those you feel differently about for only one movie, not a few, or three or four, or even two, please.

Personally:

Peter Facinelli in ** Supernova**- It’s a terrible movie, but he was the only bright spot in it. I was shocked that it was him when I saw the credits.

Timothy Hutton in ** Playing God**- Blond hair really suited him in this movie, though I might be the only person on earth to think so.

Jude Law in ** eXistenZ**- I know that many many women find him very attractive. I don’t. However, in this movie I could finally see why they might think so… (on a related note in this movie JJL looks far prettier than they usually let her appear, too. It’s a shame that so many roles- like Washington Square- have downplayed her looks.)

Guy Pearce in Memento- He just looks different to me in every other film…

I dont’ know if this counts, but what the heck. I was watching this new show on USA, The Dead Zone, mostlly for the main guy. Blond, blue eyed, solid, rugged…yeah baby. After watching a couple shows I actually get to catch the credits and find that this yummy hunk of a man is actually Anthony Michael Hall, of brat-pack fame. I almost choked on my tounge.

Holly Hunter in Broadcast News. I’ve liked her in other stuff, especially Raising Arizona, but never found her attractive.

This is a good question; I know there are tons of actresses like that for me, but I can’t think of any of them right now…

This might get my backside burnt to a nice crispy color, but my vote is for Sarah Michelle Gellar in Cruel Intentions - I think she’s OK on Buffy, but I was very disappointed seeing her in that after seeing the movie.

I’m not a massive fan of Val Kilmer, but he almost made it onto my Hot List as Madmartigan in Willow.

Well, I think Orlando Bloom usually looks something like a giant smurf, but I spent all of LOTR drooling over him as Legolas. That hair, those eyes, the way he moved…ahhhhhh. My SO teases me about it so bad but I can’t help it. Legolas is Yummy.

bella

Darn skippy. He looks like he’s sucking in his cheeks in Everything else I’ve ever seen him in. But he is so luverly in Willow.

I’d go for Liv Tyler in One Night at McCool’s; everywhere else, though, she just looks sort of blah.

Victoria Tennant in L.A. Story, right from the moment when she says “I keep thinking I’m a grown-up, but I’m not.”

Phoebe Cates in “Drop Dead Fred.” She was the only reason i even watched the movie. I thought she was SO hot.

Dammit, gotta run to the bathroom now.

I’ve always thought Rene Russo was patently unsexy, but she got me pretty damn hot in the Thomas Crown Affair.

Jennifer Lopez is sexy as hell in Out of Sight. I can take her or leave her in everything else she’s done; she’s particularly dull in her music videos. This is even more true since she crash-dieted that wonderful Latina bubblebutt away.

Cameron Diaz in “The Mask” I don’t know what happened to her since but she was amazing in that movie and looks fairly crappy everywhere else

G. Paltrow I’ve always thought was so-so. Then I saw her in Emma and thought she was damn sexy.
I think it was her “pouty face.”

Happy, sucker for a good “pouty face”

Believe it or not, Orson Wells.

I shit you not, I saw a VERY old version of Jane Eyre with Wells and Joan Fontaine. He wasn’t ohmygodhessohot!!! but he was rather handsome, I thought. I didn’t even know who it was until the end, and I saw the credits and I about peed myself.

Orson Wells was a very handsome man before he drank all that wine.
I thought Sean Young was damn hot in Blade Runner. All decked out in the futuristic 1930’s style. Hair up. Yeah!

But I have never thought she was attractive any other time.
