Way back, 15 years or so ago when Grey’s Anatomy was new (could have even been season 2) I remember having to stare at the tv and try to determine if Leonardo Di Caprio was, for whatever reason, appearing on an evening soap. Turns out it was Eric Dane. They definitely don’t look alike know, and they really only had a slight resemblance then, now that I look at him. I figured it out soon enough but it remained distracting to me.
The vastly different age of these two men was never a tip off?

One is not an actor of course, but I think Jack Dorsey and Peter Dinklage look a lot alike, at least when Dorsey is at his shaggiest.
I’ll add Michelle_Dockery to that list.
This goes way back, but I watch a lot of old 1950s TV shows on basic cable, and I see Victor Buono as a villain or other supporting actor on a whole bunch of them, like Perry Mason and Twilight Zone. The only problem is, about half the time it’s another actor named Dan Seymour.

Best (only?) way to tell them apart by sight is by the tats on Smith's arms.Jonathan Groff from Mindhunter looks like a younger Cary Elwes to me.
I cannot separate these two women in my mind no matter how much i try.

Tony Amendola and F. Murray Abraham. Tony Amendola is a character actor who appears in a lot low- to mid-budget sci-fi productions. Every time I see him, I think “Wow, how did they convince F. Murray Abraham to appear in this? And how did they afford him?” Then I realize it’s Tony Amendola, not F. Murray Abraham. Then I think that maybe F. Murray Abraham uses “Tony Amendola” as an alias when he’s appearing in low budget/low prestige projects to pay the bills.
That last bit was a joke, but I seriously cannot tell them apart other than by looking at the credits.
In the ‘90s there was a movie with Kurt Russell and Ray Liotta and in the stills from the movie I couldn’t tell them apart.

That’s weird, because I’ve always though of F. Murray Abraham as “Not Ben Kingsley”. Now you’re telling me there’s three of them?
Was watching an epi of, “The Closer,” and there was an actor on named Tim Guinee and I would’ve sworn on my mother’s eyes it was Captain Tightpants.

Maybe it’s just me, but Hugh Jackman doesn’t look like the other two all that much, even in that picture, I’d say.
Handy way to tell: Hayley is convex, and Kate is very nearly concave.
