I am surprised no-one has mentioned Paul Walker from the fast and furious films. I don’t think he would have a career if it had not been lucky enough to get attached to that franchise. Even his name sounds like a place filler until they can think of something better.
He certainly wasn’t an actor of great range, but he was absolutely perfect in a few roles- most notably ***High Noon *** and Mr. Deeds Goes to Town.
Agree with Ryan Reynolds. He’s not a horrific actor, but just has no X factor. You’ve either got it or you don’t.
Sam Worthington may be on the list, but other than the dude in Avatar, I haven’t see him in anything.
On the woman’s side, I have to agree with Kristen Stewart. Nothing there. Another one is Sandra Bullock. She seems like a really sweet person, but she is like eating toast without jelly. Or butter. Or even vegemite.
Joey Lauren Adams. Or as I call her: the other Renee Zellweger.
Matthew McConaughey & Megan Fox
I always have to remind myself that he wasn’t in “Freaks and Geeks.”
Replace “doll’s” with “lizard’s” and you get my reaction to Megan Fox.
I skimmed through it. As did the other people whom I notice you did not attack.
I nominate Olivia Wilde.
My vote goes to Megan Fox. To me, she’s the epitome of a butterface. Those eyes are completely dead. I don’t think she could emote an honest feeling to save her life.
Michael Douglas. Yawn…
So you ignore 20% of every 50 posts you read? That actually explains a lot.
Remember when Chris Klein was going to be Hollywood’s next big thing?
Yeah, exactly.
It would probably get you a Mod warning, so it’s probably good you haven’t.
He didn’t mock them because those posts referred to one another and were continuing the joke established in post 8. Damn, even after he pointed out the posts to you, you *still *didn’t read them.
It was a good little joke too. I didn’t even contribute, because it was chugging along just fine, every little corny add-on pulling a reluctant chuckle from my pursed lips. Then here comes someone with their whole, “SOMEBODY’S GOTTA DO IT” schtick and ruins the little joke. I take these things very seriously, people.
I gotta disagree with some of these. Mark Ruffalo is Mr. Romantic Comedy, he’s practically Fabio in movie form. If I see his face on the screen, I know the odds are very good that I’m watching a romantic comedy.
Jason Statham actually has tons of screen presence, don’t know where you get off thinking he’s forgettable. The reason he gets cast so often is that he has that presence.
I’ll nominate Parker Posey. I know for a long time she was the queen of the indie films, but I can never remember what role she played or what she looks like, other than vaguely like Anne Hathaway, who’s also kinda forgettable. The only reason I know her name is that people on the Dope and elsewhere think she’s ultra cool, but … not from what I’ve seen of her.
Is he? I had him pretty much pegged as an indie movie guy, with the occasional blockbuster to pay the bills, like playing the Hulk in the Avengers franchise.
The only rom com I remember him in was that awful Reese Whiterspoon vehicle where she plays a ghost or something. Skimming through his imdb page I find he did a Jennifer Aniston comedy, but I don’t even know if he was the romantic interest in that one. That’s about it.
Excellent Bruce Banner, though. “That’s my secret… I’m always angry.”
She’s well known for her funbags. (not safe for extremely prudish work)
