Actors and actresses that have no charisma and leave no impression

To me, Ellen Page is the female Sam Worthington. Heck, I just Google Imaged her before I started typing, and already I can’t remember what she looks like. Just a generic dark-haired girl. She was a major character in Inception, but I can’t remember how she was relevant to the plot. In Juno, she was just a generic girl with a few “wacky” items stapled onto her.

Chris Evans, aka Captain America / the Human Torch is also incredibly generic.
One of a thousand interchangeable handsome-ish stubble-faced men in Hollywood. I just found out from his Wiki page that he played a fairly large role in Scott Pilgrim. I’ve seen that movie a few times, and had no idea it was him.

You know, that guy, in that one movie I can never remember

(because somebody had to.)

I thought I did.

I’d consider starting a thread called “Dopers that have no charisma and leave no impression,” but I’m afraid no one would notice.

Gary Cooper. Dull, dull, dull.

I was always kinda partial to Roy Rogers actually. I really like those sequined shirts.

Zeljko Ivanek. If you aren’t familiar with him I could describe all the roles he’s played in tv and movies and you’d still draw a blank.

Brian Keith. He’s a cigar store Indian.

That guy with red hair that mumbles on CSI Miami. God what a piece of wood.

It might be Jennifer Connelly.

Agreed…I think she’s a total babe, but she’s eye candy. Not a threat to win an Oscar any time soon.

You know for years I was certain her name was Kate Beckinsdale. I’m not sure why. It just sounds more “right” with the d.

Jessica Pare
Adam Sandler

Post 8, 12, 14, 16, 17, 20, 25, 28, 33 and 50. Did you not read the thread at all before popping in to splurt your hilarity? Somebody had to, indeed.

And Kirill, the Russian assassin, in The Bourne Supremacy.

Sam Neill

I looked up a picture of him and thought, “I’d know who he is, I just saw him in Man of Steel!” Or not.

Really? The guy made a big impression on me as The Evil Ben Stone in an episode of LAW & ORDER, and I’ve found him instantly recognizable ever since.

He’s the scrawny guy who always looks like he is ready to die from an unnamed disease.

Okey dokey. A man of my generation posts.

Most unmemorable actress of that era…Vera Miles. Janet Leigh gets killed in the first 5 minutes of Psycho after committing embezzlement, is the entire raison d’être for the movie, and no one remembers that Vera Miles plays her sister that comes to track her down. Tony Perkins they remember. Even Martin Balsam and John Gavin. Vera Miles fades into the woodwork.

You may be thinking of the somewhat more charismatic Helen Baxendale, who was the Emily Blunt of ten years ago.
