Actual attempts of Republicans trying to steal the upcoming presidential election in 2024

Well, it could still be Republicans. We don’t know who hired these registration organizations, but it’s most likely to be a PAC aligned with one of the parties.

[Too late to make an addition.]

Since the Trump campaign has basically ourtsourced all it GOTV operations and the Harris campaign has not, it’s much more likely to be a Republican-aligned operation.

Because when I think of groups who are likely to commit crimes such a voter fraud, nuns are high on my list. It’s just common sense. Can’t trust ‘em.

The good Sisters, yeah, that’s who you should impugn. I realize there are counter examples, but there are countless orders dedicated to serving the poor.

When my son was in high school, one of our service days was to help out a house run by nuns in North Philly—an absolutely impoverished neighborhood. While we were there, trucks would pull up, unexpected, with skids of canned goods (or whatever) that the boss said were “extra,” and to deliver them to the Sisters. The nun who ran the house said that happened all the time, and it was the only way they could keep the house running for the poor, that and donations.

If you’re looking for a cohort within Christianity that takes the commandment to follow Christ’s teachings, you’d do well to look into various orders of the Sisters. Yeah, looking for fraud? Why not target a kindergarten class while you’re at it.

From the cite:

Here’s a new twist:

Since Sept. 1, more than 102,000 Polymarket users have bet on whether Donald Trump or Kamala Harris will be the next president of the United States, propelling Trump’s likelihood of victory to a high of 66.4% on Tuesday despite polls remaining close. According to trading activity, a small number of users are having an outsized impact on the odds.

The Pennsylvania congressmen “provide no good excuse for waiting until barely a month before the election to bring this lawsuit,”

Republicans want to block votes that may be Republican? Pure obstructionism, as expected.

This is taking voter intimidation to a new level.

Caleb Williams is charged with aggravated assault on a person 65 years of age or older and improper exhibition of a firearm or dangerous weapon for his alleged role in the incident, said Neptune Beach Police Chief Michael Key at a news conference.

The women called police out of fear, Key said, adding, “to say I’m disturbed in an understatement.”

Anybody mention this clown yet?

Already blasted by North Carolinians, including Rs:

North Carolina Rep. Patrick McHenry told reporters Friday, “It makes no sense whatsoever to prejudge the election outcome and that is a misinformed view of what is happening on the ground in North Carolina. Unfortunately. Bless his heart.”

How about this clown?..

More malarkey from the Keystone state. They think they’re sooo clever, but this stuff is just annoying.

That is clearly a crime.

The lawsuits are already coming.

Really working at it hard in Pennsylvania it seems:

Full Title: Pa. residents got phony texts claiming they had voted already. Ignore them, officials say.

Thousands of Pennsylvania voters received a text message this weekend that falsely claimed that they had already voted in the Nov. 5 election.

“Records show you voted,” the text read, linking them to an official Pennsylvania website with information about polling places and early voting.

But the message did not come from an official government resource or a well-known get-out-the-vote advocacy group. Instead, it was signed by “AllVote,” a self-proclaimed voter-mobilization program that election officials have repeatedly flagged as a scam to be avoided and ignored.

While I agree that everyone should be given a reasonable chance to vote, I can’t help but assume that the GOP is only making a fuss here to feed the “voting irregularities” fire. If this link isn’t nice I will try to find another one.

LegalEagle (ft. Liz Dye) is weighing in on this:

30 minutes

VA has decided to trim its voters list in the next five days, despite a federal law that forbids systematic changes like this in the 90 days before an election. Sure, go right ahead says SCOTUS in an unsigned order. See Electoral-vote.com

I noted this too and meant to mention it. They issued their ruling with no comment. What gets me is the liberal justices opposed the ruling with no comment. WTF? Why aren’t the liberal judges calling bullshit? (might be a topic for another thread)

SCOTUS seems to have made the right move here for PA, and I’m too cynical not to wonder why. Or maybe I’m looking for something that isn’t there.

Yep, they trimmed the rolls of people who simply forgot to check the box that they are a Citizen.

Same old tired fking playbook from this guy.
