There’s always some paranoia and irrationality in the wake of events like this(see: limiting of liquids carried on planes), but most actions taken by governments have been rational and prudent.

56% is “overwhelming”? You do know that 50% is half, right? So, just more than half of Americans are cowardly shits. That may be whelming, but it has a way to go before getting to overwhelming.

It takes about 2 years for a refugee to clear our current screening process. It would be much easier for a terrorist to come in to the country in a bunch of other ways.

And yes, your cowardly fear is palpable. It radiates off of you in waves. If you’re scared, stay home.
