Adam West died.

FUN FACT: Lyle Waggoner of The Carol Burnett Show fame was also considered for the role:

If you ever have a chance to catch the film “American Vampire,” it’s worth a watch assuming you’re OK with bad films that know they’re bad and have fun with it. Adam West is the Big Kahuna, legendary Vampire Hunter/Championship Surfer Dude.

Adam West tribute Saturday on ME TV…

Good. I’m gonna look for that. I knew they’d have something planned.

Family Guy is also doing a tribute this Sunday.

That was wonderful.

Ha, when I was a kid West’s delivery got me thinking this was indeed all above board serious stuff.

I have to thank our Grandfather for taping all those episodes for us back in the 80s, also for introducing us to Columbo too.

Starting at 10 AM (9 Central) Adam’s appearances in
Maverick
12:00 - The Big Valley
1:00 - Gunsmoke
2:00 - Bonanza
5:00 - The Rifleman
12:00 - Batman
1:00 - The Outer Limits

? I thought it was Ron Ely that played Doc Savage?

Voodoo Island is airing right now on Comet TV. Its campy but fun.

Over in one of those “If you won a bazillion dollars what would you do with it” threads I mentioned that I would stage a production of “Waiting for Godot” starring William Shatner and Adam West.

Now not only is that dream crushed, but I don’t even have the bazillion dollars to console me.

I’m assuming your choice of casting is based on this epic work? :dubious:

No, I just thought that two natural overactors playing Beckett as straight as possible would really bring out the comedy intrinsic to the characters and their dialogue.

I also wanted Brian Blessed as Pozzo and either Roberto Benigni or Bill Irwin as Lucky because seriously, why wouldn’t you?

Wouldn’t Adam West be an under-actor?
