Is there such a term for someone who is addicted to the internet? And how about someone who is addicted to newsgroups? Using members’ names doesn’t count. Sorry all you smart @sses out there. 
Type “internet addiction” into Google and you’ll get myriad hits. It’s referred to as “internet addiction”, “netaddiction” or “patholigical internet use” and that’s just in the first three hits.
