I’m oughtta here! I’m taking my family unit down to Williamsburg, VA to tour the historic district and Busch Gardens.
A theme park based on Beer. What could be better? Is there a worthier Mecca?
I just know my daughter’s going to love Sesame Place.
I’ll be back Monday.
Enjoy it, Scylla! I went to William & Mary, so I know the area real well…
Have fun!
Cool! I went to the Busch Gardens at Tampa years ago. And I must admit, my favorite part was watching the beer being made and processed. They were making Busch “tall-boys” the day I was there.
It was fascinating, in a Homer Simpson-esque way.
No no, Milo. The best part about the brewery tour was getting the two free beers at the end. Was a GREAT source of amusement for us college kids.
We did that a few years ago. The only problem was Pepper Mill’s allergies – which ruined the trip for her. Virginia’s got a LOT of pollen.
Heh-heh. I grew up 20 minutes from the AB brewery in Merrimack, NH. Used to be unlimited “samples” after a tour, but by the time I turned legal, it was down to three. Those guys had a hell of a memory too. It would be a room full of wanna-be drunks, and they would remember what beer you were on.
Williamsburg: Land of the Pancake Houses.
Am I the only one who read that subject and thought that Scylla was must be recovering from dysentery?
