Admit that you're wrong!

Thank you, Cuauhtemoc!

Oh shit, if I had to learn all teh dumb-ass things I’ve conceded and turned 180 on… we’d be here for a while.

But there are, I’m sure, many other incriminating debates I’ve been in. The worst thing is, many of them involve me being so wrong, but not realizing it until after the fact, and so I don’t bump the threads (months later) just to admit I was wrong.

If loving you is wrong, I don’t wanna be right.

I thought that moving from Eugene, Oregon to Reno, Nevada would be an enriching life experience and a better chance for more employment oppourtunities.

Oh mamma, was I wrong. :smack:

I once thought that Libertarian Capitalism was the best deal out there.

I was wrong.

I was wrong to get a diamond engagement ring.

Unfortunately I only found this out two years after the purchase… :frowning:

The best deal? No, the best “deal” out there is to let other people work for their money and then get thugs with nuclear bombs to steal it from them and give it to you.

:wally

Oh ! Arden Ranger ! I was gonna say the same thing!

When I saw those other people’s kids acting up in the store, I said "my kids would never do that ! But I was wrong.

Well, I missed it. Which is why there is no longer a Belgium. Must have been an error in my calculations… yep. Forgot to carry the two. I was wrong. Sorry.

Okay, seriously: I thought admiting I was wrong would make me look weak and/or stupid. I was wrong about that.

I don’t always reduce and recycle as much as I could - I’m wasteful at times solely for my own convenience. I view that as wrong. (And I understand that the world won’t be fixed and my own exercises against waste won’t make a bit of difference. I just feel it’s wrong for me to be wasteful.)

Well, that’s encouraging. damn.
