Adrian Peterson and the Vikings

I know they are playing the Lions…but jeesh…he scares me. He may break every record ever recorded if he stays healthy.

Wait until week 17 when the Vikings play Denver. Their Rush defense is terrible. I’m downright excited for that game.

If he stays healthy is the key. It’s exciting to watch him play, so I hope he does, but it’s a big IF.

Yeah, he’s missed games in 3 of the last four seasons he’s played. The one he was healthy he probably should have won the Heisman as a freshman though. I really wish he wasn’t in the NFC north though. He’s so fun to watch, but please, not against the Bears.

It’s amazing that he’s out there two weeks after a partial MCL (?) tear. MCLs aren’t as bad as ACLs obviously but at first I thought this was a desperate attempt by Childress to save his job by foolishly risking the team’s future - but seeing what he was able to do, I’m not sure it wasn’t the right thing.

Actually, it was a torn LCL (lateral collateral ligament). Not as bad as an MCL tear, but still a pretty impressive recovery.
