Sometimes, in the middle of the night (some nights I just cannot sleep), I’ll watch Adult Swim, and during the night they played a cartoon with those clay-mation action characters, where the Mom went to the hardware store and bought herself what looked to be a huge jack-hammer drill:eek: to “do” herself with, after finding out her husband was seeing another man.
Mannnn, cartoons are pretty sexy these days, huh, a long way from “I yam what I yam” :). Guess that’s why they call it “Adult Swim”, Quasi!:smack:
Okay to my question: As this episode was closing I heard a song which I believe is called “I Hope You Die”, sung with only an accoustic guitar as accompaniment.
Being the sardonic-satirical dude that I am, I wanted to learn to play and sing this song, but thus far haven’t been able to find it in a search.
Another Adult Swim question - in Aqua Teen Hunger Force there is an episode where Shake deep fries a cow, then him and Karl dump the used oil in the woods, which gets them in trouble with the wood authorities. But on an episode of Good Eats they said that it was fine to dump deep fryer oil since it was bio-degradable. So whats up with that?
Hell, it may be, the other one sounded close though. I’m in a place where I cannot listen to it right now (library), but will when I get home and let you know if that’s it.
“No Children” is a song by the Mountain Goats (essentially one person - John Darnielle) off of the album Tallahassee. If you like the song, it’s probably worth spending some time checking out Mountain Goats clips on Youtube, since the song is a decent representation of what he was putting out at the time.
