Advice on teaching ESL

I have just returned from a 3 month trip to Europe, and I find myself quite taken with the idea of going back to stay in one place for longer, ideally Prague. I feel like the best way to do this would be to get a job teaching English.

I know most people who go to teach ESL do so in Asia, but there must be some that go to Europe. I googled it, and came up with a lot of agencies, but since they all want money from you, I’m a little leary of just choosing one.

I think there must be other dopers who have done this, and I was hoping someone could recommend a good agency, or a way to find a good agency. Any other advice would be appreciated too!

Try googling for TEFL (teaching english as a foriegn language) - seems to be the standard abbreviation for europe…eg www.tefl.com and www.tefl.net should help
