I work for an Aerospace company that has a lot of vintage materials such as instruments and manuals for vintage aircraft (Pre 50’s). Would anyone know the best way of evaluating it’s worth/selling it?
Thanks for your responses in advance.

perhaps you should solicit the opinions of aerophiles?
Got any stuff from the Stearman aircraft company?
Send it to me. I’ll evaluate its worth and send you the amount I estimated.
Trust me.
QtP You know I knew I screwed that up. Mods a little assistance please.
I’ll have a complete list if the items next week if you’re really interested. I’m not sure about Stearman, there’s a lot of this stuff hanging around.
Yo, Stuffy, there are clubs devoted to particular models/brands of vintage aircraft, I’m sure they’d be happy to help you out with that stuff.
Heck, if you post an inventory and price list I might interested. Have anything for the Aeronca Champ?
I tell you what, I’ll post a link to my website as soon as I have a complete inventory.
EBay would be a good place to check - I imagine you could find some representative prices on there for similar items.
BUMP
That project got delayed, but now I’m working on it. I seem to have components for “Connie” aircraft as well as some others I haven’t identified yet. Does that help narrow down my choices?
You might want to donate it to that group who restored a Connie. I can’t think of their name right now. “Save a Connie”, or something like that.
if you are looking at heavy iron types, I suggest seeing if there are type clubs - most commercial craft from that period are in museums.
If you have military items, there should be a good market for those.
