That’s not a racist claim, not even slightly. For it to be racist, there’d have to be a judgement that a person with a particular hair texture is inferior to others.

I will have to agree with MrDibble, I already had plenty of experience with the posters that he is pointing at, In the past I have noticed them relying on racist sources like VDARE (they got better as soon they noticed that it was indeed not a good idea to mention where they are coming from) but the main reason why I do not give then much of a break is that when scientific racists come to the discussions the poster mentioned by MrDibble is all over supporting them and not criticizing the misrepresentations of the scientific racists.
Having said that, I think this item of the nappy hair would had been ok just to go “tisk tisk tisk”. I can see the point that for others not experienced on the exuberant prejudice of the ones mentioned by MrDibble that the item in this thread alone can be plausible attributed to plain ignorance, but the point here is that I do not see this item coming from a vacuum, there is a lot of precedent to think that those posters are not just plain ignorants, but willful ones.

I’m aware of your background, and aware that terrible things were done to you. But unfortunately (if perhaps understandably) they have left you hypersensitive to things that even hint of racism to you that are not meant that way, by people who are not, in fact, racist.
