I was watching the History Channel in a half-zonked state due to fatigue when the show, being about infectious disease in general, that segment in specific about SARS, cut to an image out of Vietnam. I saw an elderly gentleman drawn all in white on a bright red background.
The icon smiled at me.
I thought “KFC!”
I then realized the fundamental difference between Communist programming and Captialist programming.*
I had confused Ho Chi Minh with Colonel Sanders.
Save me from the breaded Viet Cluck!

*Double-entendre fully intended, I assure you.
Anyway, share your stories of things you saw out of the corner of your eye (or right in the front of your eye) that caused you to do a double-take.
