It’s a whole Tree. I have 2.
Very beautiful tree.
The nut is a favorite of kids to collect. Look nice in a bowl.
DOES NOT look like a real eyeball of a dead deer. (They’re usually white/tinge of blue, unless you’re a good shot🤭)
Mrs Magill and I walk three and a half miles every morning. One mile is not a problem.
Still doesn’t have cartoon Bob’s thick, brown hair. It’s like they designed him to be compensating for something…
As long as we’re talking about old commercials featuring local hucksters, here’s Ed Barbara for Furniture USA:
Barbara ended up being charged with fraud in a gold mine investment scheme. He was arrested and tried, but skipped bail before sentencing. He was sentenced to 19 1/2 years in absentia. The TV show Unsolved Mysteries did a segment on him. He supposedly died of cancer in Florida while he was still on the run.
Here’s a story about him.
If I see the commercial about “laughing is contagious” one more time, I’ll go nuts.
You can remove the word “Indian” - not because it’s offensive or even stereotypical (you have just described the typical commercials for the two tribal casinos that advertise in San Francisco), but I’m pretty sure Nevada casinos do the same thing.
The new Fontainebleau hotel/casino opened in Vegas last year. Their commercials consisted of attractive, stylishly dressed young people smiling and laughing in front of a plain white background. They didn’t show the hotel, the casino, the restaurants, nothing. It was weird. They could have been advertising anything.
Same for Atlantic city casinos except for the golf and coins. No more coins in AC or Nevada. Just tickets
No doubt the casinos near me are no longer using coins, but on their commercials it “looks cool”, and is what the rubes are expecting to see.
The Instacart commercial with the theme from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdA3uCLwrHQ
Fuck them.
What’s so bad?? Beethoven is sacred? You’ve never set any thought in your head to music? “Got to get the charcoal here - dooh dah, dooh dah!” … “Got to pick up Dan’s prescription pills by Friday night, His Truth Goes Marching Onnnnnnnn”
Does anyone else remember the McDonald’s commercial that did something like this with Fur Elise? In the 1980s? That’s why.
I don’t know what it is that @rowrrbazzle hates about it, but I find it extremely irritating due to the “singer’s” voice.
A young girl playing it. She sang along whit the tune making up lyrics that were McD’s adjacent. I remember “whoops, and also fries.”
