Red Skull is about as dead as Jean Grey.
I wonder if we’ve seen the end of Bakshi, and what Talbot has in mind for him. And I’ll throw my vote behind Bobbi and Mack working for Maria in some capacity.

Coulson said something about wiping out all of the heads of HYDRA, which makes me think he really needs to brush up on his mythology.
Or his hearing. They’ve all parroted the “chop off one, two more take its place” line.
I wonder when the Koenigs will make another appearance? We still don’t know exactly who/what they are.
No, but when Ward killed one, two new ones popped up to take his place. Coincidence? I think not.
I can’t remember the exact wording, but I think Coulson also said that they’d have a little time before the new heads were in place and ready to show themselves.
Enjoyed this episode a lot, even as I knocked all the cobwebs off my memories of the last one. (Pssst… someone remind me what Ward’s last known status was?)
Loved the evolution of Fitz’s character and his relationship to Skye, and despite the abrupt-ness of Simmons’s attitude shift, I love love love the promise of the rift between Ftiz/Simmons turning into a real antagonism. Hard to believe they’ve ended up here from their initial intro.
I too couldn’t believe Hunter would buy the “Support Group” line. Seriously? Where do you find a support group where you can talk about classified post-alien-posssession-depression? But I do like Mack’s evolution too. He’s really grown on me fast and I’m glad he survived the ordeal.
I hope Hydra had a tablecloth to throw over that table. It’s pretty incriminating.
Agreed that Hydra is only as dead as future plots require.
On the run with Agent 33 with a big-ass bruise on his starboard side and maybe a few broken ribs.
I rewatched ep 10 last night. Agent 33 had been conditioned to comply by Whitehall, and with Whitehall dead she didn’t know what to do. Ward & she are apparently teamed up and looking for a purpose. Is Ward over Skye now, since she shot him, or is he still obsessed?
I didn’t notice Hunter was speaking with an American accent this ep until Bobby told him to drop it.
I’m hoping Hunter is the one who gets to the bottom of whatever Bobby & Mac are up to. They said something about getting the map to the base? What base, I wonder? I find it hard to believe we won’t see Lucy Lawless again. Since S.W.O.R.D. (Sentient World Observation and Response Department) is like SHIELD, but focused on extraterrestrial threats, it would make sense for Mac to be possibly involved with them, and recruit Simmons since she’s on the xenophobic side now, too.
If they are going to introduce SWORD, next week would be the ideal time, what with Lady Sif arriving and all.
Yeah, and then there was the 1000 year Reich- which lasted 12 years.
Yes, but there are still Nazis around.
The base they’re in - remember Mac getting the plans so he could “check on the quarantine measures”? he clearly made a copy, that they’re going to send to … someone else.
I don’t buy either of those two as evil/Hydra, so either they’re brainwashed, or working for a rival good agency.
Maybe they’re the MCU’s version of the IRS, doing a secret audit on Coulson.
I think I mentioned this during Season 1:
The teaser for next week’s episode isn’t attached when you watch online the day after. I watch on Hulu every week, a day or more after the broadcast. I never see the teaser for the next episode and I like it that way. I see each episode fresh without any hint of what’s going to happen.
I can understand how people might not think twice before mentioning info from the teaser, but it still bugs me. It’s not a major annoyance, since I do understand that it probably feels natural to include it, but it does bug me.
Even Hydra recognizes the tax advantages.
I’ve got another theory. I’ll spoiler it to avoid hassles, as my speculation is based on some things that have happened over the years in the comics.
They’re working for Maria Hill. And while technically Hill and Coulson/Fury are on the same side, they’re not 100% sure they are on the same side.
Regarding Red Skull in the MCU: I don’t think Hugo Weaving has any intention on reprising the role. While they could always recast the role, they may simply choose to keep the Red Skull in the deceased category.
Hill works for Tony Stark now - do you think Mac and Bobbi are working for the Avengers/Stark?
Regarding who Mac and Bobbi are working for, spoiled because while it’s pure conjecture it’s loosely based in some past comic book events:
I think Hill is still SHIELD and using Stark Enterprises as cover and for its resources, and likely Stark Enterprises doesn’t mind (too much).
Strucker’s stated plan in the post-credits scene of Winter Solider was to sacrifice other Hydra operations around the globe to keep attention distracted from his own operation. That’s pretty much exactly what happened here. So Agents is again being used to detail the movie status quo.
Yes, and not only that - I’m sure that what they’re doing is somehow connected to Ultron. Perhaps they need Fury’s/Coulson’s codes to get the network operational.
