Yep as OP said, things are happening, but the story and pacing are all over the place lately.
I thought the fight between May and AsianBodyguard should have went much differently. Seems like the first thing he would have used his powers on is her clothes. That would have been a much different fight scene. Also what about tooth fillings, jewellery, etc? And why in the world would AsianBodyguard stand there with his feet spread and leave himself open to the most obvious attack ever?
He’s killed people that *didnt *deserve to die , like when they invaded that place that had the stuff that put him into Tahiti-land. Several guards did there. Not Hydra.
Yeah, and why not just keep him sedated? Or kill him?
I thought Coulson’s team frequently used those fancy knockout guns that looked and acted mostly like conventional firearms, but harmlessly incapacitated their targets.
I remember the episode pretty well, and it was the same exact footage. I also remembered the cross, which I’m assuming was a Holy Chekov’s gun even in that episode. We saw Yo-Yo and I noticed the cross on her right away and thought “oh she dies in this episode”. Then she didn’t and no one went to space anyway.
Seeing the footage again when TiYL touched Daisy just proved it to me that she’s the one who dies. This is, of course, assuming they don’t swerve us and put the cross on someone else
My DVR still had the YoYo episode, and they’re the exact same scene, down to the numbers on the cockpit display. Ship in space, as the camera pulls back we see a few blood spheres floating around, a floating box on the left, gold cross and chain, shoulder with SHIELD patch on it, then an explosion. It was 3 months ago BTW.
They definitely shot the TAHITI facility guards with live ammo, then left them there when the place blew up due to the timed explosives the guards set.
Ah, I didn’t remember that, thanks. That facility was under the Clairvoyant’s control, wasn’t it? Not saying it’s OK, but there’s a distinction between using lethal force on active combatants and killing someone who is already incapacitated.
I honestly don’t remember who controlled that facility, but Garrett was along on the raid. Having watched it again on Netflix, Garrett and Ward were the ones who actually shot the guards, though Coulson was in charge of course. And both guards were dead before the facility blew.
Perhaps. It’s unclear who ran it. But the guards seemed like law abiding security, not evil henchmen. And SHIELD had no warrant or lawful purpose in invading it.
