Og yeah. TGGitG quite literally goes beyond sexy, it’s more like actual sex. I’m not aware of anything Gwen doing approaching it (and considering my opinion of the rest of her work am not open minded to clicking on links, unlike usual.)

I like the song but, in my opinion, if it is like actual sex, it’s like actual sex during a funeral. Terry’s wailing seems more closely linked with death and dying.

True. That fact is all the more apparent when you consider that some of the songs on the list almost cross over into comic/novelty category. Also, any list of “sexy songs” that includes “Physical” and “Do You Think I’m Sexy?”–two of the songs I fully expect to hear being played in hell as part of Satan’s eternal loop–has automatically failed.

Well, don’t the French call an orgasm “le petit mort” - the little death? I know the song is death-related, but there is a layer of sex in there…
