Well, since then I have read some more of his stuff. I guess I probably just ignored him in the past since he was so ‘out there’. You’re right, the links themselves don’t do the banning just cause, it is the entirety of his behavior on these boards that got him in trouble. I retract the bullshit comment, but I wouldn’t have banned him myself. Yet.
But it is mho that if he had added anything at all to the board but his vitriol towards anything the least bit liberal they might have let some of the warnings slide.

It’s tough with someone like milroyj, who makes a habit out of being a complete asshole, but skates carefully and avoids ever explicitly breaking the rules. I mean, half the bannings are precipitated by some sort of meltdown. But milroyj was a sort of low-key asshole, who seemed to only live for the purpose of quietly being a dick.
I suppose it’s not a secret anymore that I wasn’t fond of the guy.

forgot to answer this - I only intended my plea for the referenced thread. I don’t read/post so much anymore and am unaware of other altercations the two of you may have had. My only point in that one was that the two of you seemed to be having a tete-a-tete of sorts where only the two of you were responding on that sidebar, and seemed to be talking past each other way past the point where anything productive could occur. Sometimes, it seems to me, that folks can get so embroiled over an issue so that minutia seems monumental. At those times, I think backing away and simply stopping is the smartest thing to do.
But I promise, I’ll only wield my power for the good. really.
