Ahhh! (TV guide woes)

Can I have a TV guide that works and that doesn’t require a download!

Radio times works half tihe time, and I don’t have the priveliges to install new software on work PCs. And I don’t care if privileges is spelled wrong.

Sure, you can get it at the checkout stand of your local grocery store.

Good god, man. Do you need to know what is on television this badly? Just surf for porn like a normal person.

I’ve used the listing at my.excite.com for years (in fact it’s the only reason I keep my account there since the email account is being spammed to uselessness) but I have no idea if they have anything beyond US listings.

I use the Yahoo TV page. Once you have it configured for your area and your TV provider, you can bookmark the page and it works just great.

I used to use the TV Guide page, but half the time it won’t load, and the other half of the time it refuses to remember my location and provider information.

“Location: Isle of Man”

So us USAins have no clue about it.

Hmm.

You’d think i’d know by know where Lobsang was from.

Please disregard my “helpful” advice.

Always nice to hear about good alternatives. I use TV Guide and Zap2It myself.

Well, people I know swear by digiguide. They’ll happily shell out the money for the search features and some other cool stuff. It certainly used to have a non-download version that you could use. Ah, it’s called myDigiGuide. I haven’t dug deeply enough to see if that’s free.

Anyroads, I use tvguide.co.uk and am very happy with it. It only goes three days into the future but it’s got a simple interface, loads quickly and covers all the channels I need.

And it’s free.

Hopefully one of those links helps.
