So, what the HELL is on TV this week?

The New York Times (in addition to ruining the Book Review and the Real Estate section with lousy redesigns) has failed to give me my TV page this week. The complaints operator says it’s probably too late to get me one now, and this week’s TV Guides are already off the newsstands. Besides, I hate TV Guide.

Now, I don’t watch that much TV, but I would like to know what’s on. Is there any online site that can tell me, other than logging onto every goddam station’s web site that might possibly have something interesting? “Let’s see, what if The History Channel or A&E actually have something non-crap on? Better check . . .” I mean, I’ll check PBS’s and TCM’s web sites, but, jeez, is there an online clearinghouse for local TV lisitings?

www.zap2it.com, if you don’t TV Guide (which also has a site).

Depending on your ISP, they may do listings on their entertainment page – MSN does.

Tried both of those, thanks . . . But Jesus, what a pain those sites are! I think I’ll just read this week and skip TV . . . I’ve already seen all those TCM musicals 20 times, anyway, and I already know how all the murders on A&E and CourtTV come out . . .

. . . I’ve got a headache that belongs in the Smithsonian under glass, so I’m off to bed anyway . . .

I use Yahoo TV sometimes. Not that there’s ever anything on . . .

Tv Guide has a website. You have to give your email, though.

Yahoo has a good TV grid. I find it easier to get to than TV Guide’s. Sometimes the TV Guide site put an uncloseable window on top of the place where you log in- arrrgh!
