Airline Bans Fish -- April Fool Joke or Not?

Every april 1 I look at the news items and wonder if they’re for real or not.

This one is clearly a joke:

But what about this one? The suggestion that Swedish fermented fish is essentially equivalent to a bomb puts this one pretty close to Over the Top, but amaybe not quite there:

Is this for real or not?

You can never be too careful with fish served on an airplane(!).

I always go with the lasagna.

Always bring your own lasagna is sage advise.

Doesn’t look like an April Fools. It’s still being repeated.

OMG, it’s…

Fish On A Plane!

Airlines banning fermented pickled fish which is typically sold in large flattish tins with the top and base bulging out from the pressure of the noxious gases barely contained within, pregnant with the threat of apocalyptic stench and foul noisome liquid?
I can believe that.

I’m not sure that I am following your so-called point. Can you clarify?

Fish go boom.

Whoosh part hair :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey, my first whoosh! (that I’ve admitted to, at least  )

Don’t mind me, I’m busy cracking myself up today. I just liked the sound of ‘fish go boom’.

And plane full of people go ‘barf’.

This story was reported in the Scandinavian media before April 1st. Definitely no joke.

You know, there are many disgusting local specialties out there, but there are very few that are capable of producing shrapnel :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s okay, as long as your on instruments. And your pilot doesn’t have a drinking problem.
