Ugh, I hate when they have non-showbiz people as hosts, it nearly always sucks hard.
Screw Gore, Phish is playing together for the first time in two years as the musical guest! That makes it all worthwhile.
And Revtim, I though McCain was pretty funny when he hosted earlier this season. It’s an odd feeling to see a politician doing skit comedy, I think Gore won’t dissapoint.
I’m going to watch it and cringe through the entire thing.

Gore was pretty funny both times he was on Futurama.
My thoughts exactly. Even if Gore sucks, the musical segments will be top-notch (and hopefully lengthy; Phish can barely even get started in four minutes).
I got even money that says they have a skit with Trent Lott in “blackface” on BET Network, explaining his position. Or did I just dream this?

Haven’t you guys ever seen Gore on Letterman? The guy is funny. I’m amazed that anybody would think this was going to be a bad show.
