AL only - Fantasy Baseball

Sorry if this thread is a dup but with search disabled …

I’m in an AL only league so most NL players have not been on my radar for the last few years.

Who are the best players who have moved over to the AL from the NL this year?

Apart from the obvious choices like the four new Tigers that is.

Is Josh Hamilton too obvious? Traded from the Reds to the Rangers in the offseason.

I saw him at Spring Training.

You want him on your fantasy team.

Not at all… thanks for the tip. Anybody else?

How about new closers for the Orioles, Tampa Bay or Texas… any of them worth picking up?

This year I can’t find a good ranking of player values on the net.

Last year I came across one that allowed you to filter based on league and position.

Anybody know of a good one?

For the AL only league I’m in, I had only six players of any note listed as new to the league - Willis, Renteria and Miguel Cabrera on the Tigers; Hamilton for Texas, Troy Percival in Tampa and Scott Rolen and his gimpy self in Toronto.

George Sherill is supposedly the closer in Baltimore. C.J. Wilson and Joaquin Benoit are the two candidates in Texas, pretty sure Wilson has the edge right now. Any closer is worth considering, of course you do have to take the quality of their team and their hold on the job into consideration.

I thought Troy Percival was supposed to be the Tampa closer - but he’s gotten shelled in spring training, and I have a bad feeling about his chances.
