And, of course, the important thing to remember is that there is absolutely no middleground between the two points of view. You’re one or the other. No shades of gray here, no siree.
But this is Paradise, so the virgins would be docile and yielding and submissive.
If we’re lucky, it’s Virginians.
What would you think of someone who would feel joy if they’d have stuffed his ass full of Jolly Ranchers and hung him in the street, allowing the neighborhood kids to beat him like a fucking piñata?
I’m asking for a friend
I can now say what I’ve felt since November of 2002: some troll must’ve left its Trunk behind.
Or Allah has a sense of humor ? “Here’s your 72 virgins in paradise - the paradise for man-hating lesbian sadists, but it IS paradise. I just didn’t mention it wasn’t yours. Have fun, ladies.”
What happened in November 2002?
Personally, I think that this

This is the first time I’ve said this about anyone: here’s hoping he suffered.
is way more trollish than anything I’ve posted.
I can’t say I’m literally jumpin for joy here, but as others have said he needed to die (I’m a bit saddened that a woman and child died in the strike…reguardless of how necessary something is it should temper any ‘joy’ that though unintented innocents died to bring this about ). Sort of like a rabid dog needs to be put down. No joy there…just necessity. Its also not going to cure rabies or prevent OTHER dogs from getting the disease…
I also was sickened by watching (briefly) the beheadings, or reading about things like the mosque attack.
Sort of a bummer I’m an athiest…would be comforting to believe Ole Scratch was presenting poking AZ in the ass with a rusty trident…

p.s. I have my doubts it will make much of a difference in the over all situation in Iraq.
Yup, huge stretch, filled with massive generalizations and strange equivalences. I’m still quite convinced of the immeasurable difference between me and Zarqawi.
You’ve no better clarified your personal philosophy here than before. It remains pure nonsense, and motivates me not one bit to stop being content that a head-cutting-off-piece-of-shit bit it yesterday.
That’s about the time I first noticed one of your posts. You were, and still are, being an ass.
Neither massive generalization nor strange equivalancy.
One of the most fundamental aspects of a personal philosophy is whether a person believes that killing someone else FOR REVENGE is justifiable. I made the distinction between that and killing for the sake of other means in my first post here. And, whether you believe that’s a fundamental element of a person’s philosophy is really a separate question.
On that level alone, a person rejoicing in this death is exhibiting the same attitude that Zarqawi seems to possess even if you believe there are differences in the justifiability in the root causes of their anger.
Neat trick.
Sorry, I was looking at the wrong user. December of 2003 then.
I think they get 72 pretty youths as well. Just to cover all bases. Some say the whole part is a mistranslation, and that it’s really just 72 raisins. Must be a bummer to stand at heavens gate expecing 72 pretty virgins, and get a small package of raisins.
No man is an island blah blah blah etc.
My only feeling is mourning- mourning at the whole sick situation. How sad that somebody’s little boy would end up dead with his face plastered on CNN with people cheering. And by this, I mean all of the beloved sons and daughters that have been killed in this conflict. So many wasted lives spent devoted to hate and killing because we live on a sick planet. Such a shame that we all couldn’t have used all this human energy on something that makes the world a better place.
Here is hoping, dreaming, and yearning for peace- that great human project that still eludes us.
Woah. Wait a second here. I don’t know how to ask this with delicacy:
D
id you just say that a terrorist murder video of one of your own children is available on the internet?
If this is the case and I read that correctly, then please, without further ado begin dancing on the grave of this scumbag and let no one tell you to stop.
Holy Cow, Mince, I am so sorry for you. I cannot imagine what you went through and what you continue to go through. I think even the most pacifistic person on this board would at least understand why you would rejoice at Al Zaqawi death.
Personally, I would probably cycle between rage and depression. I am really sorry for what you have had to endure.

Sadly, it always will.
And every one of them has a big sandpaper-coated strap-on.
< snicker > Now I have an image of a martyr opening the door to his promised reward, and finding a 144 person orgy.
