Al Zaqawi gets his 72 virgins!

Oh my goodness Mince! Allow me to send you my deepest sympathy, and let you know that some of us out there share your rage, even if we cannot come close to understanding the pain.

And that any of your “friends” might be the one who tells us exactly where to drop a 500-pound air mail delivery for you…

Finding Zarqawi is like finding a black widow spider in your house. The thing to do is kill it.

And, since they’re virgins, they don’t know that you are to sexual performance what Ann Coulter is to tact.

Well, i’m actually quite happy that they’ve removed the prohibition on calling people trolls, but i think that if people start using the term the way that you’re using it here, then they will be deomnstrating a complete misunderstanding of what trolling actually is.

Whether you agree with Trunk on this issue (or on any other), it seems to me that he’s been around here long enough, and has been a serious enough contributor to these boards, that simple disagreement with him needn’t result in a trolling accusation. Even in this thread, he’s made an effort to defend his position honestly and reasonably; you might not agree with him about it, and you’re welcome to criticise his conclusions (as plenty have done), but calling him a troll just seems stupid.

I think that, now that we have that word at our disposal, we should try to reserve it for people who actually merit the charge.

Are you on crack?

And I fixed your coding.

Trunk has a history of threadshitting and spouting garbage. Pretty troll-like if you ask me.

It was a metaphor, God damnit! I know you recognize that, and your post is half in jest.

A metaphor? For what?

And let’s not forget this trainwreck, followed by this a couple of weeks later.

Will the real Trunk please stand up?

Those clowns are that incompetent, or they did it that way for jollies?

O.K. Upon further consideration of the above posts, it does seem that people genuinely mistook my post as fact. It is not. I apologize for my tart response and say, in a kinder manner, that it was merely a metaphor. I was conveying that it was ok, sometimes, to feel anger to point of deathwishing and death celebration. I do not even have a son.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Yeah, you’re right. I know the meaning of the word. I just misused it. Sorry.

Yawn.

One can think that a person is spouting shit, without thinking that they’re a troll. You still apparently don’t really understand what the word means.

post 55

To clarify: I made not a metaphor, but a vicarious sentiment. I was speaking from the perspective of the family members.

Wow. I’m trying to think of the right word (and it isn’t metaphor, btw) for post #55. Or for the act of doing such a thing. Just…wow. :dubious:

Sick Fuck here! Zarqawi is dead, I only wish I believed he was rotting in hell, but I take some comfort in the thought that his death took awhile and was extremely painful. He deserved every bit of horror he experienced, and more. The world is well rid of him.

Now if only we can “get” that other focus of evil in Iraq – Donald Rumsfeld!*

*Note: did not specifically wish death on the old scumbag. A legal process would do I suppose.

OK, that was a nice experiment. Now can we reinstate the rule?

Just FWIW, I didn’t read Mince’s post at all to be providing a first-person account at all when I first read it, although going back later when others brought it up, I could see it being read that way.
