Well, if you go far enough back, I suppose there’s Sacco and Vanzetti and that lot, and before that, those Indians who dumped tea in Boston Harbor.
Kind of funny how there’s all this talk of the people of Alabama being stupid because I live in work in Huntsville and I think these are some of the smartest people I know. If I am not mistaken, Alabama has the second largest research park (engineering, science) in all of the United States (4th in the world) in Cummings Research Park in Huntsville and one of the highest ratio of Ph.D.s in the U.S. Of course the rest of the state may bring us down though. I don’t know. 
Just for the hell of it, I browsed the Mississippi Office of Homeland Security.
This is the page labeled What Should I Do? under citizen information. It consists of links to 4 American Red Cross emergency preparedness reccommendation documents, one from th US Department of Education on how to make a disaster plan for your local schools, and a broken link for special needs citizens.
Oh yeah, and ad links to two agencies looking for volunteer workers.
Good to see those Homeland Security dollars being so wisely invested. :smack:
