Alcoholic Drinks/Shots that taste like food items

  1. Chocolate Cake shot -
    2/3 vodka topped with 1/3 Frangelico - Both Chilled
    Lemon wedge with sugar sprinkled on it
    Suck the lemon and then do the shot. It tastes just like chocolate cake

  2. Red Apple shot -
    1/2 Crown Royal topped with 1/4 Sour Apple Pucker and 1/4 Cranberry juice - All Chilled
    Do the shot. It tastes like a big old bite of a delicious red apple.

  3. Bubble Gum shot AKA Jager Bomb -
    Fill a beer mug with 1/2 can of cold Red Bull
    Drop in a shot glass of Jagermeister. Drop in the actual shotglass itself and try to keep the Jager inside of it.
    Chug the whole thing down until everything is empty. Be sure not to let the shot glass crash into your teeth. Tastes just like bubble gum.

Peanut butter and jelly shot:

Lots of recipes, depending on the flavor of jelly you want to emulate…

The basic (as I learned it) is half Frangelico, half Chambord.

Variations:

  1. Frangelico, Baileys, Stoli Razberi, Chambord.
  2. Frangelico, Blackhaus, cranberry juice.
  3. Original, plus butterscotch schnapps.

Grape Crush shot - tastes like grape soda - yummy.

And a Dr. Pepper.

Had to look up how to make these, since it’s been a loooong time since college.

Grape Crush
1 part Chambord
1 part vodka
1 part sour mix
Shake with ice, strain into shot glass.
Dr. Pepper (#5 is closest to what we used to make in college except we never lit them on fire).

Dr. Pepper #5 recipe

1/2 shot amaretto almond liqueur
1/2 shot Bacardi® 151 rum
1/2 glass beer

Mix the Amaretto & Bacardi in one shot glass. Fill the beer mug 1/2 way with beer. Light the Bacardi & Amaretto with a match or lighter. Drop the flaming shot glass into the beer. It immediately begins to foam up. At this point gulp it down (be careful not to swallow the shot glass!).

Anyone know how to make a Snicker Bar? A friend made me one in Atlanta once, and it was amazing - 4 or 5 liquers, and it tasted JUST like a Snickers…

Oatmeal Cookie:

1 part Goldschlager
1 part butterscotch schnapps
1 part Bailey’s Irish cream
Mmm.

Not a shot, but a mixed drink that tastes like cheesecake - vanilla vodka and cranberry juice. I usually make it like a regular mixed drink, a shot or two of vodka to a glass of juice, but it also works well as a frou-frou “martini”, using just a splash of cranberry.

A shot or two of Malibu, and a splash or two of amaretto in a mug of strong hot chocolate is pretty close to a liquid Almond Joy.

Mix those two with cream and you have my favorite dessert drink. I was told it was a Nuts and Berries.

shot of pickle juice

you do the shot of crown royal first then you do the shot of pickle juice and it tastes just like a hamburger. even if you are not a huge fan of crown royal you will like this shot. I personally hate the liquor but love drinking these.

mix all ingredients in a mixing tin then pour into a shot glass. tastes just like the cereal.

If someone offered me an Oatmeal Cookie shot (and I saw Bailey’s), I’d probably assume that they were going to add some lemon juice to curdle it, like a Cement Mixer.

One of my favorites is the Atomic Fireball shot.
1 part cinnamon schnapps
1 part cherry schnapps
Splash of tabasco

Now, I have tried just the cinnamon and tabasco combination but it lacks verisimilitude without the cherry flavor.
