You disappoint me. I counted you among those who I see as intelligent and interesting members. Yet you let yourself drag into this kind of sillyness. Which contradicts everything else I saw from you so far.
A good example to witness how vulnarable people actually are for weird influences and how easy they are dragged to lower themselves unto a very dubious level just to “fit in”.

Aldebaran, I understand that English isn’t you’re first language, but one of the hallmarks of maturity is the willingness to suck it up, hope that everyone else will see the validity of your viewpoint and accept that those you feel are immature will simply do their thing and to rise above it. Insulting the maturity of those who you disagree with only make you appear to be the immature one and drives those that otherwise might somewhat agree with you away from you. I have a great deal of sympathy for dyslexia, using a non-primary language to communicate in and using a keyboard which isn’t designed for the language you are using. In all honesty though, the use of US’ers is vaguely insulting – please be aware of this, and don’t be surprised by it.
I’m beginning to think that Lekatt has opened a Belgian franchise under the name Aldebaran.
No I actually feel sorry for you. You actually had potential to be an engaging and useful member of this community. Following your “my post is my cite” comment I took a survey of your handiwork.
A long assortment of poorly disguised vendetta threads filled with mistakes, and lack of engagement. You continued to treat posters as rats in some behavioral test. Presenting “facts” to watch reactions. On almost every single occasion you deliberately evaded the presented evidence, backtracked on your own presented claims, and ignored on several occasions’ advice from other members to slow down, collect your thoughts and engage people. You took gleeful joy in changing the meaning of words you used and refusing to intellegently engage in debate.
Perhaps someday, if you stay, you’ll address some of these issues. Until then, following my review of your work, I’ve opted to publicly mock you and your abilities.

I would like to note, for this moment, many of our british dopers may not know that the american version of the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy series has one notable improvement. In the section on dramatic movie awards, instead of the word “Fuck” it has the word “Belgium.”
This has always amused me. Never more than now.

Man, I’ve got to hand it to ya, you are the master of deception and manipulation. You’ve got some of the most sophisticated message board regulars absolutely frothing at the mouth while you just keep lobbing back volleys.
You have a way about you that is like horizontal bungee jumping; no matter how hard someone tries to get away from you, they keep rebounding back to rage at your accusations of immaturity and ridiculousness.

You know that everyone is ready to man the ramparts to defend this boards reputation for intelligent, high-minded discourse by sophisticated people. Anyone who attempts to puncture that perception gets both barrels from the regs. In so doing, they insult you and try to argue with you.
You have no interest in argument, that would take up valuable bandwidth you can use to defend yourself from the immature insults you must endure for being a oppressed immigrant expatriate multicultural intellectual man of mystery. You poke at the soft underbelly of the SDMB; telling people they aren’t as smart as they think they are, because an truly brilliant and mysterious soul like yours can see right through them for the frustrated geeks they are.
