What can I say? I really like this show, and feel bad that (from all appearances) it’s not going to get a second season. Last Sunday’s episode exemplified how it could handle some interesting subjects (in this case, tag-teaming Islamic conversion and sexual predators) and have the result be equally thoughtful, fair-minded, and really funny while still being authentic to all the characters involved.
So unless it gets a last-minute reprieve, RIP AIA. You’ve got a couple eps left, and I really enjoyed just about everything I saw this year.
