I’ve got an earworm, folks, and I don’t know what song it is
It’s not “All my Life” by The Foo Fighters
Nor is it “All my Life” by K-Ci and Jojo
There’s a guy singing and part of the chorus is a guy singing “All my life…” I don’t think it’s the song’s title, because the Foo Fighters song is the only mp3 I have by that name. It’s possible it’s an indie artist since so much of my music library is indie, but I have a feeling that it’s not. I don’t listen to much rap/hip-hop or country, ftr.
All my life - Watching America
All my life - There’s panic in America
Oh Oh Oh, Oh
There’s trouble in America
Oh Oh Oh, Oh -

“All My Life” by Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville?
I just found both of these on Youtube. Nope, it’s neither. Thanks for the suggestions, though.
I’m sure it’s not it, but there’s always ‘In my life’ by The Beatles.
Beatles, “Blackbird”? IThough it goes “All your life . . .”
Maybe a subconcious association with Obama’s election?
There’s “Circle” by Harry Chapin, which features “All my life’s a circle, sunrise and sundown . . .”
This is a long shot, as the words aren’t in the chorus, but in the song ‘I Want To Know What Love Is’ by Foreigner there’s a part that includes the words:
All my life there’s been heartache and pain
I don’t know if I can face it again …
Getting Away With It–Pet Shop Boys?
I’ve been getting away with it all my life…
How about *Stephen Bishop’s *It Might Be You.
You remember that one, it was theme from the movie Tootsie.
One stanza begins “All of my life…” and I believe the line is repeated in the outro.
Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight” contains the phrase:
And I can feel it coming in the air tonight, oh lord
Ive been waiting for this moment for all my life, oh lord…
This is close:
All her life, so happy without a clue,
And all my time’s been search for more to choose.
All her life with nothing to pursue,
And all my time’s been searching for more to choose
From All My Time by Common Rotation. Sample available here.
Is a very old song by an old 70’s duo called Battdorf and Rodney.
The refrain is - "All my Life, I’ve waited for this day…
Maybe somebody covered it?
Is it too early to make guesses that veer from the stated specifications?
How about “It’s My Life” by Talk Talk (1984)… offered up because of its inherent earworminess and the additional earworminess that a relatively recent cover – by No Doubt (2003) – can bring on.
Chorus:It’s my life
Don’t you forget
It’s my life
It never ends
Is it rock? pop? hip-hop? rap? That could help us narrow it down.
Waiting for Somebody by Paul Westerberg?
Richard Marx - Heaven only knows?
Echo and the Bunnymen?
*All my, all my life
as my life turns
round and round *
All My Life is the name of the song, though, so it’s probably not the one you’re looking for.
