Neither “Religion” nor “Atheism” has anything WHATEVER to do with a single individual’s relationship with …the Ephemeral, Individual, Close-Held, connection to THEIR INDIVIDUAL fears, hopes, dreams, beliefs, backgrounds…Just what they each want to SHOUT at others.

I’ve read ~20 books of evidence for the existence of God, and thousands more are out there. And of course the best evidence is not found in books.
Say it all you want, but anyone who pays attention to intellectual discourse knows that atheists achieve peaks of craziness that no one else can possibly approach. If someone says to you that all women have penis envy, or that 1-year-olds are mentally equal to adults, or that cause-effect reasoning is a tool used by society to oppress individuals, you know that you’re talking to an atheist, because no one else could be nutty enough to believe such things. Only atheists, who are by definition severed from a large part of reality, could take such ideas seriously.
(For the record, those three examples come from Freud, Firestone, and Foucault.)

Because there’s never been any evidence for God for anyone to write down in a book in the first place. We know that you have no evidence for God for the same reason we know you have no evidence for Zeus or Sauron; they are fictional, physically impossible characters.
