"All right, I'm going to say it...I actually LIKED..."

I’ve seen much worse movies than the Twilight saga. I’ve watched all three - more than once. (Covers head)

Can’t believe I’m going to admit this, but here:

I like Master of Disguise. Yes, the Dana Carvey movie. Yes, I watch it when I see it’s on cable and no one’s around. It’s so absurd, and some of his “identities” are pretty funny.

I think that’s game, set, and match, I win the thread.

I have to second this, especially when I came upon the interpretation that Life Extensions was intentionally creating nightmare scenario for David to induce him to wake up, freeing them of the growing moneysink of caring for him indefinitely. I imagined if the client opted to return to the dream, they repeated the “glitching” until the client finally agreed to exit the lucid dream.

Oh me too, I love this movie.

I thought it was a riot. The greatest comedy ever made? Not a chance…A good fun movie? You bet.

Sometimes I think people (this board included) put way too much into the movies they watch. Sometimes I just like to watch a movie ya know?

Van mother fucking Halen. The Original. Not Van Hagar. They rocked.

I like and still listen to Duran Duran. I get the eyebrow when I admit it to some “rock” friends.

Loved the last episode of LOST

I like Russell Crowe

I liked The Postman and…Waterworld.

There.
Oh, and I also enjoy the occasional Yoo-Hoo chocolate drink.

I liked the movie Xanadu. I have the DVD, and still watch it occasionally. I even have the soundtrack. The original on vinyl *and *a CD.

Oh yeah! I love you so much SMV, I Wanna Kiss You All Over! Tell me an Ode to Billy Joe! Let’s hear from One Tin Soldier! Let me feel some of that Summer Breeze!

I feel so free now!!! And Run, Joey, Run! It’s okay to like that one, right?

RIGHT???

(Returning to stand in corner.)

I prefer Opportunity Knocks.

And I LOVE hair bands.

Black Snake Moan was one of my favorite films of 2006. My very favorite film of 2006 was Apocalypto. And I am not ashamed of either.

Those were both fairly well-received movies, I believe.

I think pre-Sammy Hagar Van Halen was fairly popular as well (in response to someone upthread).

And I will admit to loving Van Hagar and that I could do without the Roth-era stuff.

Ketchup on hot dogs.

Mustard too. I fix one of each, and eat them alternately.

Putting A1 on my steak.

Watches as all the food snobs on the SDMB gasp in horror and drop their monocles into their martini glasses.

When I was a kid I used to listen to Kansas a lot. I don’t much anymore but I still think they were an innovative and creative band that did a lot of interesting things with rock music. They don’t deserve the “high cheese” rep they seem to have.

You caused me to waste some perfectly good gin!

Some of mine have been mentioned already:

Shania Twain’s music
Titanic, and “My Heart Will Go On”
The ending of Lost (though I do wish that more of the mythos had been clearly explained)

Here are some I haven’t seen mentioned…heaven help me, I like:

Movies - How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Little Nicky
Music - Air Supply
Cartoons - Monty (formerly Robotman) - I haven’t particularly seen it trashed here, but it can’t be all that popular, since it hasn’t ever been collected in books (in any meaningful way - I know there’s one or two. But not the continual series releases that some other strips have.

I liked Ishtar. Only saw it once, when if first came out. I’m curious to see if I’d like it again after all these years.
