"All right, I'm going to say it...I actually LIKED..."

I hate to say it but I enjoyed it too (Battlefield Earth, not Mission: Earth). It was trashy and ludicrous but that just made it extra funny.

Me, too.

I also like Giorgio Moroder’s score for Metropolis

God help me, I actually liked Couples Retreat. I realize that most of this movie was just an excuse to go hang out on a really beautiful island, and some of the plotting was plodding and dull, but darnit if I didn’t identify with Vince Vaughn’s character – a hardworking nice guy who’s a bit of a smartenhiemer who loves his family so much and just needs a break with his wife. It’s like they made a movie about me!

I thought the bit at the end where he’s given the donkey statue was great.

The Lost World, the TV series. My favorite TV show ever.

I liked the ending of Lost which is being ravaged over in the Worst TV endings thread.

Great, underrated movie. I question those who didn’t like it.

Also a great, tongue-in-cheek movie that tried to market itself too seriously.

I did too, but realize it really doesn’t have many redeeming qualities.

Same here. I got my money’s worth on the train scene alone.

Two and a Half Men

I once spent an entire weekend watching every Degrassi Episode… and i was about 38… I also love ABBA… and thought the second season of Jersey shore was freaking hillarious…

I’m not at all ashamed to admit that I love these:

Ang Lee’s “Hulk” (2003)
THIS scene screams classic, comic book Hulk!

And… Disco music!
Especially these:

Foxy - Tena’s Song
Peter Brown - Dance With Me
Dr. Buzzard’s Original Savannah Band - Cherchez La Femme

I remember reading somewhere that Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan consider it the worst movie they ever made.

Anyway, the SDMB has it’s haters.

I liked it too, so apparently there’s another ‘that guy’.

I enjoy all the Top Model shows.
I will set both the Canadian and American ones to record and watch any others I come across.

I’ll do that one better: I loved LOST’s finale and rank it as one of the greatest series finales of all time (up there with Six Feet Under and Newhart).

I’ll also add that I hold the controversial position that Season 6 of Buffy is my personal choice for best season.

This one’s a bit more embarrassing to admit, but I actually kinda like the ABC Family show Pretty Little Liars. :o

Megaforce.

The vehicles, the flying, rocket shooting motorcycles, the satin jumpsuits, the bad one-liners, Barry Bostwick’s [del]mane[/del] hair. It is the ultimate cheese fest.

Agreed.

I also loved the finale to Quantum Leap and the ending of The Dark Tower.

And I thought Sucker Punch was a great movie, much more so than Inception.

I liked Hannibal, the sequel to Silence of the Lambs!

Ballykissangel. I know that means very little to most of you, but there are a couple of people on the Dope who just lost all respect for me. :: sigh ::

And it gets worse: I still stream Ros na Run over the internet.

:: slinks off in disgrace ::

If you mean the Stephen Tompkinson years, I’m with you. If you still liked it after he left, your disgrace is well-earned.

Shania Twain makes music? I thought she just stood around being gorgeous.

That’s not a criticism, by the way.

Waterworld Why it got such poor reviews I have no idea. Dennis Hopper is so cool in that movie and Jeanne Tripplehorn in tattered clothes… gawsh she is super beautiful. I think the premise that the whole earth is underwater is kind of plausible, too.
