It’s also making you very uncool. No one has done that for years. I’m risking losing my own Cool Card for even talking to you about it, so you better appreciate.
I really hate this attitude. And I have for years.
You could always qwench your cottonmouth with a PBR…
Twilight
Yeah, see? It causes me pain to be lumped in with the hipsters just because I don’t like Olive Garden.
That’s is false. Gamera is really neat. He is full of turtle meat.
Well, I hated *Twilight * before hating Twilight was cool.
And I like Starbucks, mostly for their cold drinks. Their brewed coffee still sucks.
We’re all eating Gamera!
OP:
and I make threads about them while I’m busy not paying attention to them!
- Anything American when compared to the “not watered down, dumbed down and sanitized” version of the equivalent outside of the US. Taken to its extreme, we get …
"Oh, American food is so much better in Europe. It’s not watered down or dumbed down for the masses like it is in the US. It’s just so much more authentic there
- Any restaurant chain, except those with more than 25 branches, those not located in their hometown, and those based out of their hometown.
“Chipotle used to be awesome, until they sold out and opened so many new restaurants. Now I prefer Freebirds.”
“Chipotle is so awesome! It sucks that we don’t have any here.”
“I’m from Denver, and I think Chipotle is so awesome!”
- It’s also important to know what the GOOD mega-chains are. Target, IKEA (European, so of course it’s more authentic and real than American chains), H&M (see IKEA), Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods, and Wegman’s to name a few.
… whichever song on the album is released as the single.
If you mean people on this board, then the biggest one is sitcoms. Especially traditional multi-camera sitcoms with a live audience.
Yaaaaah, but your average Hipster* IS *by and large a douche-fuck. I mean, that’s what they do, That is their raison d’etre. They exist for us to get our hate rocks off. …and to wear silly hats and drink shitty beer.
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh . . .
How about the “Star Wars” prequils? Event tho’ you’ve seen them a hundred fucking times.
Hating people who hate things just because it’s in to hate these things is pretty in these days.
This is something you don’t see that often: The OP is a perfect example of the OP.
I am a fat, suburban, 45 year old mother of two. I am not a cool kid by any definition, and I hate Olive Garden. I didn’t know that got me into the club. I mean, besides the I Don’t Like Bland, Overpriced Food Club.
The movie “Crash” seems to get a lot of hate on these boards. Personally, I didn’t think it was that bad, at least not so bad that I feel the need to bring it up anytime there’s a thread about movies that suck.
Just because the cool kids hate Olive Garden, and you hate Olive Garden . . . doesn’t get you into the club. It only makes you a fat, suburban, 45 year old mother of two who hates Olive Garden.
