When you have opinions, bring them forth like road apples from the rear end of a horse. But why be a self-appointed defender/attacker, arbitrator, or psychological insight gatherer into what you think are other’s secret motivations or agendas? Is John John right, are you looking for a job as a moderator? I think they already have their asshole quota in a moderator who shall remain nameless*.

It should have been higher–the form and meter were fine, the concepts decent (although “liberal” as an insult was pretty weak). But what really lost points was the fact that it was incorrect and unjustified.

It’s just he feels the need to tidy things up when he sees it getting a bit conservative. tom performs a very useful task on this board as the de facto Liberal historian, but I like him anywawy. Ahh… the indirect, falsely-polite jab. How naive… typical from this vintage.
This should have served as a buffer between a solid argument and a strong conclusion. As it is it leaves the reader feeling as if something is lacking. It should have had a stronger finish.
It also needs to be more robust overall and have a stronger focus. This is not a flame that you would show off to your friends.
