Am I Crazy?

Non-answer.

It’s the answer though. I didn’t go out looking for them specifically. I met some people who knew some people who knew some people etc… Now I know a bunch of meth heads. Just like how I know a bunch of actors. Or how I know a bunch of women. Or men. Or people.

How do you know of any one?

It must be the areas we live in? Some places have more meth use than others. I don’t believe I know anyone who I know does meth, but I know several crack heads and heroin junkies.

Do you want me to introduce you to some meth heads? :stuck_out_tongue:

yes

Yes. Did you still want me to read the OP?

OP, this will cover most people but not all people. Ask yourself: “Do I feel crazy?”

I would start worrying at the point you yelled at a technician on a utility pole. The cable company does not need to physically cut the wires near your house, if they want to terminate your service they update a setting on their computer.

Party @snfaulkner’s!!

Mentioned. Has anyone here seen convincing evidence of his existence, though?

If the OP is earnestly concerned, (a big if, as they’ve not returned !), then I’d recommend speaking to someone capable of making an informed assessment. Like a Dr or Therapist.

Because, yes, in fact, many of the things you’ve described align with the onset of true mental illness. Or maybe you’re just getting paranoidish as you age, because that happens too!

An Internet message board is unlikely to really offer any truths, of course. If I were the OP, I WOULD want some answers! Enough to seek out a professional for an assessment, sooner rather than later, too!

Good Luck!

Most of these things have pretty reasonable explanations. My guess is that the crew was working on something in the street, not directly connected to your house, so nothing showed up when the person on the phone looked to see if anyone went to your house. But it could also be that the crew was lost and in the wrong place, or the records are just messed up.
But it’s not that surprising that if you were having cable problems, a cable company crew would be fixing the lines.
The cell phone was almost certainly was showing something else, but with only a quick glance, wasn’t able to be read correctly.
And a package from Krygystan disappearing (particularly one with money inside) isn’t exactly earthshaking news.

I think most likely, these are just random things that happened. Humans are really good at noticing patterns, but sometimes they’re just coincidences.

With the number of Harleys in my garage ------- we could make a regular run out of it!

Trust me – going to the number of biker events I do I’m basically in snfaulkner’s shoes. Sometimes life is just funny like that.

Well, from my viewing of the well known spy documentary Burn Notice, the guy on the pole could have been storing secret documents in a box on a pole. Hiding in plain sight, as it were. Or he could have been planting surveillance cameras to spy on someone else.

Assuming the OP is factually correct, that is.

Can’t comment on the rest of the post but I would not find it unusual at all to have the cable company state that nobody was out. They meant that nobody was responding to a call at your address. A cable lineman may be anywhere at any time tracking down issues and nobody at the office would know exactly what that involved.

Now, if you think the cable company is so well organized that they DO know every location the tech worked, perhaps you do need help

Are you sure it was your pole? The cable company has a pole in my backyard that services the two houses next to me but not mine. My pole is across the alley. Plus, the same pole can serve more than one house.

Pole, pole, pole.

Shh. Only Exapno Mapcase knows where they are.

It bothers me there people here are making jokes about this, which is shameful.

I believe the problem is you aren’t up to speed on how this technology works and are putting these observations and events together for a pattern that isn’t actually related.

If someone were doing surveillance of you, you wouldn’t be aware of it at all in 2017. There would be no reason for someone to access your utility pole to do any sort of surveillance. It is also very likely they were doing work on someone else’s service or service for the general area, and not your specific service.

As for the cell phone, I see messages flash across mine too quickly to read what they actually said, but when I can see what they said it isn’t what it appeared to be at first. Cell phone work from cell phone towers, and are not related to your home utilities even if offered by the same company. When you call those companies for support, they have completely different parts of the company which handle cell phone support vs cable support or even your home landline.

Just to be on the safe side. You should visit your family doctor and get a check up. Also share other information if you are feeling paranoid about anything else.

If the government were doing it, I agree. But they’re not the only ones who can do surveillance.

Some average Joe, or a less than competent PI, would likely act amateurish and be spotted. If I had reason to spy, I don’t have access to cell phone bugs or whatnot. I’d have to plant cameras or bugs, or fly drones, myself.

Why would Marxism be tracked? Is it some kind of socioeconomic analysis using a materialist interpretation of historical development and a dialectical view of social transformation?
