I’m a little annoyed by the Arby’s I regularly patronize. Unlike the one I went to in the last town I lived in, this one actually offered the option of normal fries … until my most recent visit, that is. And this comes just weeks after its decision to trim back its hours. Of course, all would be forgiven if they brought back their chocolate turnovers. Those were pretty fucking awesome.
I never much liked either the regular nor curly fries. Curly fries in particular have a short shelf life and are only good when their still piping hot, pro-tip curly fries improve vastly when dipped in ranch dressing. I much prefer the potato wedges to any fries they serve. Jalapeño poppers are pretty good too although their mass often allows for too much oil absorption.
